Union Limousine

Live production site. I built the frontend on my own, from a blank slate to launch in two months, using Next.js 16 (App Router), TypeScript in strict mode, and Redux Toolkit with RTK Query. Try the booking flow to see the multi-step reservation and form validation. Lighthouse scores 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO.

Union Limousine is a New York-based chauffeur and black car company serving individuals, businesses and groups across New York City, the Tri-State area and the rest of the U.S. Its fleet runs from luxury sedans and executive SUVs to stretch limousines, Sprinter vans, minibuses and motor coaches, covering airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, hourly hire and group trips. Every booking is backed by real-time flight tracking, transparent pricing and 24-hour support.

Caterbee

Live production site for a Swedish B2B catering platform (the site is in Swedish). I was its sole frontend engineer from December 2019 to September 2026 and led its migration from React 16 with Prerender Cloud to Next.js, which is why it now has 12,000+ pages indexed in Google. Browse the caterer and menu pages to see the server-rendered, SEO-focused frontend.

Caterbee is a Swedish catering platform that brings breakfast, snacks, lunch and event food to the workplace. It works with more than 100 hand-picked suppliers, so teams can order from several caterers and to multiple addresses at once, with every invoice gathered in one place.

    Union Limousine · Remote · Freelance

    Sole frontend engineer on a US limousine booking platform, taken from a blank slate to launch in two months.

    • Drew 10,000+ visitors and 45,000+ page views in its first year.
    • Built the booking engine in Next.js and TypeScript with Redux Toolkit and RTK Query, covering multi-step reservations, form validation, and API error states.
    • Led the move from JavaScript to strict-mode TypeScript before release, ruling out a whole class of runtime type errors.
    • Hit Lighthouse 100 for Accessibility, Best Practices, and SEO on desktop and mobile, with Performance at 90+ on desktop and 80+ on mobile.
    • Used Claude Code daily, backed by code review and testing, to keep the codebase clean and fast.

    Sole frontend owner of a B2B catering SaaS platform for nearly seven years, setting technical direction with the CTO.

    • Shipped 30+ production releases alongside the CTO, designers, and backend team.
    • Proposed and led the move from Prerender Cloud to Next.js with SSR, ISR, and SSG. The platform now has 12,000+ pages indexed in Google and Good mobile Core Web Vitals on every measured URL.
    • Built shared components for forms, modals, and layouts that kept the UI consistent and sped up feature work.
    • Integrated 50+ REST endpoints through Redux Toolkit and RTK Query with consistent caching, validation, and error handling, which cut UI defects sharply.
    • Trimmed bundle size and load times with webpack-bundle-analyzer and Lighthouse audits, and migrated 20+ class components to hooks.
    • Gated releases on a Playwright end-to-end suite built with Claude Code, and set up Sentry for production monitoring and alerts.
    • Treated WCAG 2.1 accessibility and cross-browser support as build requirements, not afterthoughts.

    • Built ActiveApplicant, an applicant tracking system, and ActiveHR, an HR platform for onboarding, time tracking, and PTO. Both are still in production today.
    • Shipped 25+ full-stack releases with React, Redux, Rails, and SQL, including GameSmith, my first production React app in 2017, and Lanora, a task tracker for students and instructors.
    • Containerized apps with Docker and deployed them to AWS (EC2, S3) on Linux hosts.
